Our involvement
Working with Liberty Industrial the projects decommissioning partner, EMM provided ongoing real time monitoring and regular attended monitoring to measure noise, air quality and vibration levels during the demolition of wharf structures, piles and redundant land structures. The EMM team used the @SiteHive Hexanode system to provide continuous real time information, an innovative and cost-effective tool to manage compliance on active construction and demolition sites. This focus on monitoring, combined with regular reporting of results ensured compliance with the project’s approval conditions and assists the construction managing contractor, Hanson Yuncken, in effectively managing the program of works. Construction of the new market is underway and anticipated to open in 2024. The award winning design is being led by Danish architects 3XN, in partnership with Australian practices BVN and Aspect Studios.
