EMM Consulting is pleased to welcome experienced environmental professional Nick Travers to lead the company’s Rehabilitation team nationally.
With sixteen years’ experience, Nick has expertise across multiple sectors including mining and metals, manufacturing, waste management, electricity and telecommunications. With a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management, Nick specialises in Rehabilitation and Closure, Soils and Landform, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA); Environmental Health and Safety Management systems; Environmental Auditing; and Permitting and Approvals. Nick joins EMM having most recently fulfilled an Environment Superintendent role within the Mining sector where he managed environment, rehabilitation and community relations portfolios.
Commenting on his move to EMM, Nick remarked:
“I am excited to join EMM and work with our closure, rehabilitation and soils team to enhance our technical offering across the land resources, geochemical assessment, landform and cover design and closure planning areas.”

The EMM team are advocates for the early commencement of robust rehabilitation and closure planning in order to minimise the potential for failure, rework, high costs and regulator intervention.
This announcement follows the recent senior appointment of Hydrogeochemist Magnus Skold who recently joined in the company’s Perth office.
