Overview

The Mugga Quarry site contains multiple operations, including extracting and processing rock, concrete batching, asphalt manufacture and materials recycling. EMM prepared an environmental assessment (EA) and development application to upgrade of various facilities to allow considerable increase in production.

The main concerns addressed were increased traffic and air and noise emissions for which effective management measures were devised.
