Overview

A noise and vibration impact assessment was prepared for inclusion in the environmental assessment (EA) that EMM prepared for the Cobbora Coal Project. The Cobbora Coal Project is a proposed open-cut coal mine to be developed near Dunedoo in the central west of NSW.

EMM successfully managed the noise and vibration impact assessment, which included the modelling and assessment of operational noise, construction noise, a lengthy rail spur and offsite road and rail impacts. The study also included noise and vibration assessment of proposed blasting.
