Wade is a highly experienced hydrogeologist with almost 30 years’ experience in water and land management in Western Australia. He brings a diverse mindset to the table with experience working across: consulting, as a government regulator in WA, and for the mining industry (RioTinto). This diverse working knowledge and experience means Wade is ideally placed to provide key technical water leadership to any problem or project.
Wade has all-encompassing knowledge and experience of mine water management, from feasibility studies and concept planning, through to implementation and closure. With a lifetime career in Western Australia, Wade has led numerous water-related environmental impact assessments and mine closure programs throughout the region. With his comprehensive working knowledge of the regulatory approval processes and best practice management of water and resources, he is able to guide projects through these regulatory requirements with ease.
He plays an active role in his specialty as a peer reviewer and member of various working groups and steering committees. He is an author of research papers published in multiple scientific journals and conference proceedings.
Wade has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Applied Geology), RMIT and a Doctor of Philosophy – Applied Geology (Hydrogeology), Curtin University. He is also a member of the International Association of Hydrogeologists, Western Australia Chapter.
