Joel Georgiou

Joining EMM in August 2017, Joel has 20 years’ experience across New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia across a range of commodities.  Commencing his career in the consulting sector as a hydrogeologist, Joel has held various roles across industry, government and consulting, establishing a reputation for bridging the gap between practical solutions and the complex science that underpins environmental issues.

His key areas of expertise are in mining impact assessments, designing and implementing drilling programs, monitoring programs, pumping tests, and groundwater modelling to inform various baseline studies and environmental impact assessments.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Group, Joel effectively leads teams  across  divisions  and  geographies to deliver outcomes that create opportunities for our clients and the community.

Joel holds a Master of Hydrogeology, Bachelor of Science (Hons I) and is a member of the International Association of Hydrogeologists and is a registered professional with the Australian Institute of Geoscience
